High-quality machining & plating from Kluson
guitargeek62 23.04.2014
Firstly, these arrived in a Kluson branded packet. I don't know what the relationship between Göldo and Kluson is, but either way they make a great product.

The machining on these threads is second to none - I'm 99% positive that these are not cast, but are properly machined on a lathe. The threads match up perfectly with no inconsistencies at all, and the nickel plating is very even too.

As a modification, they work very well indeed. Drop them into your import ABR-1 bushings, and then simply seat the new bridge on top, it's practically invisible once it's they're in.

I'm looking forward to buying more Göldo/Kluson hardware if it's all as good as these! :)

Used for a Epiphone Sheraton
Hills 30.01.2026
I bought these to install a Duesenberg replacement bridge on my 90's Sheraton. I had to bend the adapters slightly to make them fit. But it works without drilling.

Get closer to vintage style...
PlayerV 16.02.2020
Great product! The screws fits into metric M8 guitar inserts and allows you to easily convert you guitar to style that accept original style ABR bridges (metric). They come in Kluson packing which was nice surprise.

Great tip is to use two sets of thumbwheels. One set can be used to tighten the screws against the guitar inserts which really locks them in place and remove any remaining looseness. The second set is used, as usually, to hold the bridge.

Handy and do the job, a reasonable standard of finish by today's standards.
