This is a pretty hot pickup, very aggresive sound, mid to high focused. can push the front of the amp hard. More open than emgs, not so compressed. Cleans up nicely with the volume knob.

tried it on a tele (alder body, maple neck/board) and a les paul style (full mahogany, rosewood board). Liked it better on the les paul, can be overwhelmingly bright on the tele with marshall style amps.

good seymour duncan quality, thomann service \m/ , pretty happy with the purchase.

Klasse Humbucker!

Wer einen Humbucker für die härtere Gangart sucht und dabei nicht auf aktive Tonabnehmer setzten möchte ist hier genaug richtig! Standard Tuning als auch Droptunings nimmt er ohne Murren und Knurren und bleibt dabei jederzeit sehr differenziert und klar.

Der Einbau gestaltete sich jedoch etwas schwieriger als zunächst gedacht, da die Kabelfarben bei Seymoud Duncan anders belegt sind als die Farben bei meiner Epiphone Les Paul Modern. Nach einer kurzen Onlinesuche konnte mir da aber auch Abhilfe geschaffen werden.

Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Tonabnehmer und überlege ihn zukünfitig öfter zu verbauen.

Très bon micro, très péchu, bonnes finitions. Idéal pour muscler votre son si vous avez un ampli un peu trop rock ou obtenir une énorme disto avec un hi gain... s'adresse tout de même à des styles musicaux assez violents!

Habe diesen Humbucker in meine Gibson Les Paul Custom SB verwendet um den schwachen original Gibson Humbucker zu ersetzen, der wohl nicht für Metal geeignet ist. Doch optisch fällt es nicht auf dass es nicht mehr der Originale Pickup ist und meine Gibson klingt jetzt mehr nach HEAVY-METAL :-) Einbauen war wirklich kinderleicht und binnen 10 Minuten erledigt. Sound überzeugt mich vollkommen und verarbeitet in typischer Seymour Duncan Qualität. Ich kann diesen Pickup jeden Les Paul Spieler empfehlen der ein wenig mehr Power aus seiner Paula holen will.
