I bought this instrument as a backup to my US Fender Jazz but it has now become my main working bass. Fast neck, great weight distribution, lovely warm tone from the Alder body and great electronics. The only negative would be the stock strings which do the instrument no justice. Setup out of the box was excellent. The neck needed a very slight adjustment after a restring but other than that this instrument is a dream to play.
