It does more, but does it worse than before.

I'm a long time user of the original Mustang Micro and have been using it daily since launch.
Despite its durability issues, the original Mustang Micro had a very elegant simplistic approach in functionality and user experience while maintaining very useful fine tuned tonal options that for the most part sounded good to impressively good without the need to tweak or any hassle.
Well, the Mustang Micro Plus its the polar opposite.
It offers loads of options, with the need of pairing to a mobile device or tablet, much more flexibility while at the same time sounding worse.
It has much more digital artifacts, sounds inorganic and has that digital sizzle that is always present (user of old school Boss digital multi effects will know what I mean).
The need to have a second device paired for tuning is another hassle, its not a all in one solution anymore, the app (on apple devices) is buggy and require you to make an account to use all features.
All in, this is a device that will tick more boxes that will please some, while introducing unnecessary complications to a previous more elegant solution.

Great thing in a small package

I was looking for a versatile head phone amplifier and I came across fender mustang micro. I was doing a research with other brands and in few days Fender dropped this great piece of equipment. Without any hesitation I ordered Fender Mustang Micro plus. Fender tone app helps you to tweak over a range of amps and pedals according to the genre. Now I can practice anywhere anytime I want.

ist dieser brandneue Kopfhörerverstärker von Fender im Hosentaschenformat für alle lautlosen Gitarristen. Ich habe mehrere Verstärkerchen dieses Typs besessen, auch den normalen Micro der übrigens im Programm bleibt, aber der Micro Plus schlägt alles bei weitem. Er bietet 25 Verstärker und 25 Effekte, 70 Presets und 30 leere User Speicher (die Presets können aber überschrieben werden!). Die Klangqualität ist ausgezeichnet.

Das hochauflösende Minidisplay bringt endlich eine einfache und übersichtliche Bedienung dank Namen von Amps und FXs im Klartext und ein bestens ablesbares Stimmgerät mit.
Als Audiointerface funktioniert der Micro Plus ebenfalls und die Bluetooth Kopplung mit Computer, Tablet oder Mobil klappt perfect.
Die App "Fender Tone" für IOS und Android ist mehr als Benutzer freundlich und mit ihrer hohen Auflösung toll anzusehen.

Etwas einfacheres und besseres zum lautlosen Üben oder Jammen gibt es m.E, zur Zeit nicht.
Die Bedienung bekommt nur 4 Sterne da die Knöpfe seitlich und damit nicht erkennbar sind ohne den Verstäker ein wenig zu drehen - das ist aber eben konstruktionsbedingt und Jammern auf höchstem Niveau.
Ein absoluter Volltreffer den Fender da mal wieder abgeliefert hat!

Muy buena evolución del Mustang Micro

Fácil uso y configuración a través de la aplicación y con la información de la pantalla ayuda mucho a saber que configuración estas utilizando, que con el modelo anterior tenias que estar mirando los colores de cada efecto.
Muy recomendable para quien quiera tocar sin estar ligado a un amplificador mayor.
