You don't have to be a Mayer fan to use these...but it helps

Cetainly not a gauge of string I have used before, and yes I did buy them from Thomann because I am a bit of a "Mayer" fan. Replaced them on my Strat (which had 10's before) I did notice a difference regarding feel and tone, only slightly but it was there. Didn't have to adjust anything on the guitar they fitted just fine. Slightly more expensive than a set of D'Addario's but they do come in a nice tin!!!

Ich habe sonst die normalen Slinkys benutzt und wollte die John Mayer Variante ausprobieren, da ich selbst großer Fan bin. Die besonderen Stärken bei diesen Saiten sorgen tatsächlich für ein anderes Spielgefühl, was mir richtig gut taugt. Da ich mich eher als Rhythmus-Gitarrist betiteln würde kann ich nicht sagen, wie gut diese Saiten sich für virtuose Solisten eignen. Der Klang auf meiner Mexiko-Tele ist jedenfalls 1A :)

Ik ben dol op deze snaren, net iets dikker dan de gewone 10's en toch maakt dat halfje extra veel verschil, een beter geluid zonder dat je veel extra weerstand hebt, deze snaren klinken al helemaal goed als je gitaar een halve toon lager gestemd is. Zeker het proberen waard en het blikje dat je erbij krijgt is een leuk extratje
