Great strings

My favourite guitar strings by a long shot. Perfect if you want something just *slightly* thicker than regular slinkies without making the transition up to 11s. I use these on both my strats, and they suit the 25.5” scale length perfectly imo. Nice thick sound (work great for all the stuff I play - alternative rhythm guitar typically with a big muff somewhere in the signal chain) and they can last a long time if you need them to.

I've been playing electric guitar and bass with Ernie Ball strings all my life. Out of curiosity and for comparison, I've tried other brands, but I've always come back to Ernie Ball. These Mega Slinkys in particular offer what I was looking for: a middle ground between regular and power strings (which I use on short-scale guitars). But on Stratocaster and Tele, long live the Mega Slinkys.
