Long life and pleasant feel, they wear only as much as you play them. I use .049 for E or D on a guitar that is mostly in Dropped D, but it still playable in standard E too.

Ik ben erg gehecht aan de feel van Elixir Polyweb snaren. Bij de opwiweb voel je de groeven beter. Dat vind ik helaas een nadeel.

Gewohnte Elixir Optiweb Qualität

...mehr ist eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Ich spiele seit längerem Optiweb auf meinen Elektrischen (für Akustik gibt's keine Optiwebs), die Haltbarkeit ist wie gewohnt gut, der Klang ist im Vergleich zu den Nanowebs noch ein Wenig klarer und das Spielgefühl ein Wenig natürlicher. Gute Weiterentwicklung, wobei der Unterschied meiner Meinung nach nicht riesig ist.
Die Länge der Saite ist wie immer sehr großzügig, sollte auch bei langen Mensuren und reverse headstocks genügen.
Ich benutze diese Einzelsaite um mir einen 10-49 Satz (sozusagen "custom medium/light-medium", äquivalent zu cusom light 09-46) zu bauen, für Gitarren mit kürzerer, LP-typischer Mensur, um auch half step down oder Drop-D noch genügend Spannung zu haben. 10-46 (light) wird unten rum zu schlabberig, 10-52 (light-heavy) ist mir auf E-Gitarren für Standard Tuning zu viel des Guten. Diese Lücke schließe ich mit Einzelsaiten und bin damit sehr happy.
