Audient Nero

I purchased the Nero in May of 2022 but due to circumstances I did not use it until 2024. At some point (October 2025) The Nero crashed when I started up my gear. There was a loud crack noise, distortion, and instead of having 4 headphone outputs I was left with one. Sometimes the left channel would distort after starting up, but was okay again when I restarted it. Despite this unreliable situation I kept using it when it would function properly, as I really like the volume knob and that I can still have an accurate mix, even at a very low volume. But today it failed me again, a loud crack again and now there's no more output going to the right speaker. Unfortunately the period of guarantee was crossed in October 2025, even when I had used it only a year. I've contaced Audient about this back in 2025 but they did not offer me a new unit, and I don't see why I would spend more money for the repair as it has failed me several times. And by reading the reviews of others I noticed that I'm not the only one who had these cracks and failure. It's a very unreliable unit and would not recommend this to anyone.
