the cymbals work great both as single cymbals when separate, and as a loud stack cymbal.
The 16 crash cymbal is a great efx cymbal, although slightly quiet, would work as a stand-alone cymbal for lighter applications.
The 18 China is loud and cutting, but still refined and dark/trashy too.
Highly recommend to anyone considering a larger stack set of cymbals for a very affordable price!
