Expectation was high
180€ at launch, the hope was high. We have SM58, SE V7, E835 & E845 in the venue to compare. The YDM707 lacks a bit of detail and too crispy on a narrow band around 5k area. We use it in an high reverb venue. We ve not tested it in studio environment.
The SE V7 did surprise us with the sound we want and the cost. I’ll definitely buy the V7 again.
