dead after two years

Two years ago I decided to buy myself the best guitar cable I can find. It sounded and looked the best. I only used it in my living room setup, it did not live the apartment. Last week it started to disconnect on several places and it is extremely hard to repair due to it's construction. My cheap vox and fender coil cables are five years old without a problem.
