Bb Clarinet Reed

Named after the address of the Vandoren headquarters, the 56 Rue Lepic series is the latest addition to the well-established range of Vandoren reeds. Designed from thicker cane with a heel taper very similar to German-style reeds, the 56 rue Lepic emits a rich, centred, and extremely pure sound while providing maximum stability and a quick response in all registers.

Strength gradations are smaller and more specific, resulting in reeds that are very consistent.

Better than the blue

These are my preferred reed - I much prefer them over the traditional blue.

Worth buying one or two just to try out before committing to a whole box.

J'utilise habituellement des anches Vandoren Bleues 2,5. J'ai voulu essayer des anches un peu plus fortes pour mieux maîtriser les aigus et éviter les couacs. Il m'a fallu un petit temps d'adaptation mais aujourd'hui j'en suis satisfait.

Ich habe kurz mit Rico-Blättern probiert und bin dann von meinem Lehrer schnell auf die Rue Lepic hingewiesen worden. Ich spiele die Stärken 2,5 und 3.
Was mir gefällt ist der "satt-dunkle" Klang, der recht viel Tiefe ermöglicht und meinem Geschmack entspricht und dabei immer noch gut nach klassischem Klarinettenklang klingt (Mundstück Selmer Concept, Vandoren Optimum Schraube auf Buffet Crampon E12F).
In der Ansprache fordern die Rue Lepic mehr vom Spieler als z.B. die Rico Plasticover.
Ich habe den Eindruck, dass sich die Blätter nach kurzer Zeit "einspielen" (also wahrscheinlich etwas leichter werden) und dann über lange Zeit konstant bleiben.
Bis jetzt bin ich damit so zufrieden, dass ich nicht wechseln möchte.
(Generell bei Vandoren: ob man da so viel Plastik-Verpackung nutzen muss .....?)
