Valeton Dapper Mini 4 Effect Strip

I like it but I don't love it. Some of the sounds are great but I find it quite fiddly and not super easy to set up, especially on the fly. It's a decent studio option, but these things are meant to be used live, so actually it then becomes a good rehearsal option. This creates the problem that you can't then replicate the sound you had at rehearsal without having to dial in sounds using small knobs that are not easily seen in low light.

I still like it though.

Overall its not a bad tool to have, but its not everything that it promises to do. The Delay and Chorus are really nice, would 100% use them. However the Drive is barely passable. I would only use it as a very last resort, since it is hard to get a good sound out of it when connected to a tube amp. Also, if you dreamed of using this multieffect as your silent practice amp, then forget about it. There is no preamp, so the headphone output sounds super dry, like a bass boosted lawn-mover.
