Ayant joué ce type de bec à l'alto, j'ai été déçu de ne pas retrouver le même niveau de qualité. Le son est très bien mais pas sur toute le tessiture. Le son n'est pas facile d'émission, notamment dans les graves. Quelques soucis de justesse également.

J'avais lu sur un forum consacré au saxos un test élogieux concernant ce bec.
Apres 6 mois, je peux dire que je ne suis pas déçu malgré le prix. L'avantage notoire vis-a-vis de certains becs d'origine est sa facilité d'emission. Comme le bec est fermé, pas besoin d'envoyer trop de pression pour sortir un medium par exemple.
Le revers de la medaille pour un bec fermé c'est le manque de versatilité, c'est a dire qu'on trouve une moindre possibilité d'expression personnelle et de variations sur ce bec.
Conclusion : un bec facile a jouer (sur un sax soprano HANDMADE Thomann), précis et suffisamment puissant.
