If you thought you were going to sound like Paul Desmond with this mouthpiece, you are sorely mistaken. The board is concave, the sound is raw and sharp. An unpleasant rustling is constantly present. It is very difficult to play quietly. For comparison, the Yamaha 7c, which is made of plastic, is an incomparably better mouthpiece (both mouthpieces have a 1.9mm opening).
