I fitted a Bigsby V7 to my Gibson Les Paul, because they look really good with one fitted. I used the standard Nashville bridge . Tuning was ok, but not brilliant, the bridge rocking on the posts slightly when the vibrato was used(tremelo to most people!). Made the decision to buy the Tonepros TP6R N (N is for Nickel plated) from Thomann who are always competitively priced and reliable.Arrived from germany to the UK in around 5 days. Fitted staright away. The only issue i had was adjusting the bridge height which was very difficult with new strings under tension, so I removed them and then adjusted all the way down, restrung and then could raise the bridge to set the action. Intonation was adjusted, the locking grub screws tightened and then some playing to test followed. What an improvement ! Tuning stability was significantly improved to be no longer an issue and the tone was somewhat brighter and focused. Really pleased with the result and would reccomend to anyone with a Bigsby. It really is a significant change for the better and makes the guitar so much more usable and pleasurable to play.
