Wunderbare kurze C-Saite, gute Ansprache bassiger Klang

Ich spiele diese C-Saite seit fast zwanzig Jahren, weil ich ihre sehr gute Ansprache und ihren bassigen Klang auf meinem Instrument schätze.
Von der Länge her reicht sie allerdings bei meinem Kontrabass mit 104 cm Saitenlänge, nur knapp: die textile Umwicklung ragt schon fast auf das Griffbrett. Wenn der Saitenhalter näher am Steg ist, mag sie auch für größere Saitenlängen genügen.
Die jahrelang beim Hersteller bemängelte Verletzungsgefahr beim Bassputzen durch überstehende Metalldrähte an der Endperle scheint bei den neuen Saiten behoben.
