Thomann Renaissance Lute 8/15

It is very hard to tune this lute because the pegs do not stay in place. You have to push it very hard and even so, it won't stay much in tune. The sound isn't great either. Honestly for the practicality it shouldn't be more 100$. You can buy guitars at 100$ that will sound divine compared to this lute... I think I will have to return it!

I purchased this expecting while not a perfect instrument, at least something that could hold a tune for more than a few seconds. The pegs slip constantly or are otherwise stiff, a fret is placed in the wrong place and the instrument is completely unplayable. I am extremely disappointed since I expected something a lot more from thomann. Will most likely be returning if I can't get it set up

I own many string instruments and this is the worst I’ve ever seen.
I’m used to tune my violin but I couldn’t manage to tune it properly and snapped 2 strings in the process (sharp neck hole).
Its too light, way lighter than my cheapest violin (100£)
