A great case for gigging and works great in the studio too

I bought this to house an audio interface and a couple of drawers and it has certainly made life easier getting on and off stage. The build quality is great, sturdy and safe for keeping the expensive gear protected inside. Very easy to use and install the various racks inside.

It also works well when not out gigging, sitting beside my desk and holding all XLRs and connecting cables within arms reach.

The case itself is not too heavy, but now that I have loaded it up with interface and drawers it does become quite a hefty load to move around. Consider that when selecting the size, as much bigger than 4U (if you are loading it with gear and cables) might be more cumbersome than it is worth.

Took for wireless transmitters, it's good and durable enough to protect gear during transportation (didn't try on plane and international journey only in car between cities)

Excellent quality with a few flaws

Very good for its price. 2 flaws I noticed:
1. The rack screw holes are very sensitive and bend easily
2. Could use some more inner space on the sides for cable management.
3. Could have a net pocket on the second cover also.

Good basic solution

For such a price, this is an excellent choice, especially as the basic organizer for your 19" equipment. Of course, if you are constantly on the road on tours, perhaps you should take something stronger, but for infrequent trips to gigs and work in the studio/home, it’s perfect.
I use the 4U version of the case where all the slots are equipped (one slot takes up the spacer), and the equipment inside the case is about 30 lbs in weight and the case holds this weight perfectly. It seems that the plastic has excessive flexibility, but I don’t see this as a problem.

Price / Performance top notch

The Rack Case 4U unit is used to house an combination of a ENGL E530; a Marshall 8008 power amp and a Marshall 9001 pre-amp. It all fits perfectly and the case is stable. Feels sturdy and just like any regular rack case. The locks are fine. Basic butterfly latch type. Nothing really out of the ordinary. For the price simply top notch.

Good product , recommended ! It won't handle a serious road trip , but for light use e.g. getting to the gig and back it's more than enough !

this rack is a perfect solution for everyone need to move gear around...even the best solution for ship expensive outboard like i did couple of time....this case is really solid
