Looks good, but fell apart after light use
MyMateG 07.08.2025
I bought this in 2022 because it looked sturdy and weatherproof, and seemed like a bargain. But the stitching has fallen apart in multiple places: the carry handle (both sides), the shoulder strap, the side stitching. This is despite minimal use and careful handling. I have a standard sized Yamaha FG acoustic, with the usual leads, capo etc it the front pockets, and used it only once or twice a week, mostly just carefully placed on the back seat of the car and carried from the carpark to the building and back. Not heavy travelling by any means. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

Poor quality

Looks great and nice design with good padding and perfect size pockets... But... The zips get stuck and the stitching on handle fell apart almost immediately. I bought it for travel but it did not even last for one journey. Very disappointing.

Strap came away within a couple of weeks

Unfortunately for me, the backpack strap tore away from the case very very quickly. Perhaps it was bad luck.

Zips on all Thomann bags are Terrible

The case is good but the zips are ****. I will never ever lie in a review, love thomann to bits but this is the absolute truth. The zips break and fail miserably. Had to buy Ritter now

Sturdy, heavy duty bag with a major downside
Yo_Sto 01.06.2015
Edit after several years of owning the case:
The quality of the insde is pretty poor and it has started deteriorating and leaving small round polyester-like residue on the guitar, a lot of them. My guess judging from what i've seen is the whole inside reinforcement will slowly be torn... Also one of the small the zipper pulls broke and i cant say im a careless user.

Had i known that, i would try to find something with better material.

Apart from that, this is so well build it can safely protect your guitar even from falling. It is a very sturdy, thick paded, strong leather-like outer surface, has neck support with a locking velcro thing. Has a lot of space to carry sheets, tuners, capos, picks, cables, even small pedals. It is very durable, i always carry it from the side handle and theres minimum wear to it.

It is also heavier compared to other bags but thats normal. The fornt big zipper case hardly fits A4 sheets but after some use it gets more loose and its easier but not easy to fit them.

Unfortunatelly because of the poor pad quality i wouldnt suggest anyone to buy it, thinking long term usage.
