The bag is ideal for light protection of a double gourd sitar.
Not really meant for traveling,but perfect for keeping the sitar safe and dust free at home.Thomann have it at a very good price.Amazon UK have the same case(different name) for more than double the price.

I bought this bag for my sitar, which also has a second tumba. It fits and the padding seems thick enough to securely protect the sitar while at home. However, I won't ever use this bag for long-distance travel and, I would still handle the instrument with very great care. Upon arrival the bag still had a pungent, chemical smell about it, which disappeared after a few days putting the bag outside. I honestly think the bag is slightly overpriced, but there aren't many alternatives, so I was kind of forced to buy this one. Whatever the price, I would definitely prefer a sitar hard case, would it be offered here.

Housse très bien dimensionnée pour mon sitar. Evidement, en termes de protection ce n'est pas un étui rigide mais largement suffisant mon usage.

Habe ich mir so vorgestellt. Der Reisverschluss macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Meine Sitar in Kürbisklangkörper ist ca 5 cm breiter als Taschenmaß und passt gut Länge hat auch gut gepasst keine Thomann Sitar Lieferanten sitar älteres Profiinstrument.
Die Tragegriffe sind so angebracht dass die Resonanzwirbel n
Rochtung Tragehand weisen so rutschen die Mizrabs bei Resosaitenwirbel (Plektrum special India) nicht raus.
Zum sicherem Transport Auto nach Bühne .... Versenden würde ich abraten aber dies soundso von Th. angesagt.
