Leather with holes and lace
It's a piece of leather with holes and a long lace. I fitted it to my sons Yamaha 567 with no problems and he has not mentioned it since then.
Update: the grip has now been removed due to lack of friction between the leather and the hand. Also a complete pain to remove for washing the horn. He played without a grip for a time then fitted a thin golf grip which has a slightly tacky feel and helps support the horn.
