Short background: I'm 33 and I've always wanted to play a musical instrument. Took me a while to figure out it's the flute.
Started off buying a super cheap one, which almost made me quit, so luckily I realized it's the quality of the flute that's causing me to not be comfortable and not produce a good sound.
Fast forward a month later... returned the cheap flute and bought the FL-1000 fro Thomann. Felt like the price is super good for a beginner's flute.
Came through the mail, unwrapped it, took it out, played a sound and since then I've been enjoying it every day. From holding it in my hands to how easy it is to produce a sound, I cannot express the joy of just staring at it.
That's my short story <3 I hope it helps out the next guy or gal.

The model flute is suitable for beginner students. The mechanism is a convenient and ease of sound production. The sound is soft and warm.

I really like this flute, very sturdy, nice, handy, easy and with a great sound. In a nice case and carrying bag, not only all of that, bud it came with a bagpack , beginner flute sheet music book, a tuner and a music stand :)
The open holes let themselves play very nice, and you get plugs, to close them if you want.
