Both shoulder straps snapped whilst carrying my not particularly heavy Cort bass guitar. I was lucky that the instrument was undamaged. The fabric of the straps ripped straight across. One of the zipped pockets came apart when I stored the now broken straps. fortunately the carry handle didn't also fall off! Ok case for storing the instrument but not for carrying on your back - serious risk of damage to your bass.
