Liegt (wie die C3) sehr gut in der Hand verglichen mit kleineren Ocarinas (C1, G2) wo kein Platz für die Finger ist oder größeren Ocarinas (G4) wo der kleine Finger der linken Hand das Loch kaum abdecken kann (letzteres Problem ist spezifisch für Ocarinas mit europäischem Griffsystem, tritt nicht bei asiatischem Griffsystem auf).

Das Doppelloch für C/Cis ist zwar nicht notwendig (man kann auch ein Einzelloch halb abdecken), aber sehr komfortabel.

Negativ:

Wie bei 10-Loch-Ocarinas üblich ist der Ton unter dem Grundton (hier: F unter G) nur über Änderung des Atemdrucks und nicht durch Griffänderung erreichbar. Das zuverlässig zu können erfordert Übung. Wer also bereit ist, mehr zu zahlen, ist mit einer 12-Loch-Ocarina besser bedient.
