Loose fit
The female side (guitar cable connection) of these are really loose fit. You'll have to make sure the cable has connection by pulling or applying a pressure on the connecting cable.

For home use
I bought this for use in live sound applications, however i would not recommend it for any use other than at home, the plastic built feels flimsy and i dont think it would hold up to heavy use, so it has never left my home, i wouldnt take the risk.
On testing, it did not seem in any way to colour my signal or cause any noise.

A bit tight
It does its work, but fits a bit tight on the RCA input of my mixer
