TC-Helicon VoiceTone X1

This TC Electronics (Helicon series for voice) pedal is a cool unique type of tone shaper for all the rockers out there. It will do exactly what you think that it will do, ranging from megaphone, telephone like voices to crazy distorted howl if you wish. It's easy to use and seems very solid, also it has input pre-gain control and XLR input/output, as well as an USB port. Pay attention to the distortion settings though, because with a microphone you're obviously going to get many annoying squeals even in the larger rooms if you pass through a certain threshold

This thing is great, it sounds brilliant, but you cant use it live. Its a feedback nightmare. It works well in a studio if you want an authentic non plug in performance, headphones are a must.
