Ich habe mir den X1 im Zuge der Holiday-Giveaway-Aktion von TC Helicon gekauft, da man das MP-75 Microphon "gratis" dazu bekommt und muss sagen, dass es sich gelohnt hat. Jedoch muss man erstmal Zeit damit verbringen und die Bedienungsanleitung lesen, da der Drive(bzw. Outputlevel) und Filterregler(bzw. Gate) eine weitere "versteckte" Funktion aufweisen, die das Produkt erst brauchbar machen. Wenn man jetzt das Teil eingestellt hat, klingts so wie es soll. Weil das Einstellen aber etwas dauert und nervt, gibts Punktabzug.

Da es zu diesem Preis keine mir bekannte Alternative gibt, ein echtes Megaphon mal ausgenommen, ist das Teil empfehlenswert.

Ich brauchte für ein paar Songs einen Stimmenverzerrer, da stieß ich auf das TC Helicon. Das Teil hat 8 Effekte, ich komme meistens mit den Phones-Effekten aus, mit Filter und Drive bekommt jeder Effekt auch eine große Bandbreite. Obwohl ich den Output (links auf der Seite) auf Minimum habe, ist ebendieser Output enorm - im Proberaum oder bei kleinen Gigs ohne Monitoring ist das kein Problem - mit Monitoring leider schon (Feedback)... *g*

Ich bin mit dem Sound der Effekte sehr zufrieden und in der Anwendung sind die Phone Effekte sehr angenehm und passen gut in meine Oldschool Swingband. Den Distortion Effekt würde ich in anderen Bands gern einsetzen aber er hebt den Pegel stark an wenn man den Effekt aktiviert, das führt zu Feedback Anfälligkeit. Das hab ich noch nicht im Griff aber vielleicht lässt sich das irgendwie lösen. Ich ziehe wegen dieser Schwierigkeiten 2 Sterne ab unter "Bedienung".
