Amazing for the price

Build quality is very good, with good sound quality too. There is a bit of noise at high amplification levels though.
I am currently experiencing issues with my unit and will update my review since those are solved.

Let it warm up

I was looking for a small amplifier to drive some small monitors for previewing and cueing material prior to playout. Being fanless and robust enough for long sessions were key purchase factors.

When I switched this on for the first time I thought I'd made a big mistake as it sounded very cheap. However after about 20 minutes warming up that changed quite a lot and was actually okay at its price point. It is quite a tonally coloured sound and seems to sound a bit compressed but it is not unpleasant, nor fatiguing over long periods.

It is very solidly built. Utilitarian in styling but workmanlike and feels like it will last a long time.

Overall okay sound and good build quality and the price point is about right.
