Unfortunately, when problems arise, that’s when you realize you’re on your own — even worse after two years.
I’ve run into an issue where the loop won’t stop. I can’t do anything because it’s constantly recording and playing. I’ve searched online but found no information on how to fix it, not even how to restart the unit. It basically means I have to throw away something that cost almost 500 after only two and a half years.
Every time I turn it on, the looper starts going crazy, and I can’t control anything to stop it.
The only solution is to contact the T-Rex website(T-Rex repair department). They are very polite and genuinely concerned about everything. For 88 euros, plus the shipping costs, they repaired it, and now the unit works like new again. However, keep in mind that the only way to fix any problem is to send it back to the T-Rex repair department in Denmark.
So yes, go ahead and buy it — but remember that there’s no information about potential issues, and not even basic guidance on how to reset it, even though it’s a digital device.
