Hab davor ein Yamaha 4C gespielt. Das war auch nicht schlecht, aber es hat mir klanglich nie gut gefallen, da ich besonders am Altsax einen klaren hellen Sound schon immer gemocht habe. Das Spark spiele ich nun schon seit ca. zwei Monaten. Ich konnte bei Thomann mehrere Mundstücke durchtesten und dieses hat mir sowohl vom Klang als auch von der Ansprache am Besten gefallen. Es klingt übrigens genau so hell wie ein ähnliches Metallmundstück.

Super finde ich den Dynamikumfang. Ich kann das Spark sowohl deutlich leiser (fast aus dem Off) als auch lauter spielen als das 4C. Geht daher auch gut auf Zimmerlautstärke. Verstehe daher nicht so ganz die Warnungen, dass high baffle Mundstücke grundsätzlich lauter seien. Klaro kann ich damit lauter spielen, aber halt auch leise. Muss man nur üben.
