Strymon Big Sky
Big Sky. It’s lush sounding whilst still being ‘thin’. The Nixie software was an absolute nightmare to get up and running, it’s picky about its midi cables (another 80 quid in trial & error cables!). Straight forward after that was sorted.
It might just be me but the small white legending is almost impossible to read unless extremely well lit.
By today’s standards the 6 letter spacing is really short for naming patches and before you say, ‘it scrolls’, who at a gig had time to confirm a scrolling name…?
Despite the moaning it’s still a very useful pedal on the board with lots of application. It’s probably going to stay on the board for some time yet.

of course it used to be more incredible a few years ago but still brings a lot of power to the sound and it is very handy

Amazing Sounding Reverb
This reverb sounds amazing and has amazing build quality. The only downsides:
1) It's expensive.
2) The screen is not readable. At this price I would expect something like an OLED.
Highly recommended if your budget can accommodate. There may be better reverbs for your money though.

Great quality, knobs could be a bit sturdier moving. Alot of options.
