I bought this product for the theater I'm working on.
I'm very exited by the quality of this Pars! Almost everything it's perfect from the safety (I preferred the clip because can be put out by one hand. this one that product offers need 2 hands to unscrew the safety but it's ok) the body it's very good and the cable all made perfectly with the latest safety iso. I recommend this product!! New buyers let this Par with a lamp in use for at least 5-6 hours so the fresh paint get burned because it's smells bad for the first ours of use ! Don't be afraid all model have the same issue aIts the smell of the freshhhhh.... :)

Very good lamp. Its light and strong. needs a 1000 watt bulb for effective coverage. Bad side is the lamp needs to "burn in " when you get it so needs to be used before an event so smoke does not come out of the lamp at an event... Overall a good lamp!!

Exceptional product.
They are robust and made to last.
Safety wire rope is great as you do not have to buy one for each.
A great tungsten light.

Could cook a chicken in it

Don't put it too close to the talent, they'll cook.. Handles the light of a narrow bulb perfectly. Word for the wise: They DO smoke for the first 30 mins of first ever use, nothing to worry about, they're perfect afterwards, just really hot!

Good stuff for decent price

This is a "plug and play" solution, no manual wiring needed.
Easy to install the bulb. The only complaint would be that there is no handle to control it. If you are planning to use it as a moving spotlight, you will need to install a handle yourself.

The bulb holder could be a bit more rigid as it became a bit loose after moving it around during a play. The rear lid could snatch on a bit tighter too as it moves even after it is secured.

All in all a good product and for the price there is hardly any competition.
Good old PAR 64, I'm glad some still make these.
