only happened once, but a light wasnt properly secured and would have fallen if the safety hadnt been there - held a 5kg light

We use them as added security for our lighting equipment. They are very easy to use and feel very secure once in place.

An excellent safety chain!

These safety chains are fantastic for smaller fixtures which are light weight. They have a good build quality although the ends of the cable can be quite sharp which sometimes requires a bit of care but other than that an excellent product that lets me rig with confidence.

Good safety cable

Good piece of essential kit if you've got heavy lights. Slightly too long for what I needed but that's my own fault.

Could be even better if it had a sprung clip rather than a carabiner one.
