Il s'agit de ma seconde SONOR SQ², j'en possède déjà une en configuration jazz avec des futs type "vintage" et j'ai craqué pour une configuration rock avec une grosse caisse en "heavy" et des toms et toms bass en "thin".

Cette configuration possède une finition Rosewood extérieur et intérieur.
Visuellement elle est magnique, les plis de finition ont été parfaitement sélectionnés pour que le kit soit totalement homogène. Petit détails montrant la qualité et le sérieux de fabrication, sur ce kit les cerclages de grosse caisse ont été fait avec le même pli de finition que la grosse caisse elle meme, visuellement cela est superbe car on retrouve la continuité du veinage entre le fut et les cerclages.

L'accastillage est de haute qualité et très plaisant à manipuler. Chaque mécanique est souple et parfaitement fonctionnelle. Les tirants de grosse caisse à molettes sont parfait pour un réglage rapide et précis, par contre pour un changement de peau il faut forcement les démonter totalement pour les décrocher du cerclage.

En étudiant l'intérieur des futs on constate le sérieux apporté à la fabrication. Les chanfreins sont très propres et la finition intérieur identique à l'extérieur rend le kit somptueux.

Une fois montée et réglée le son est au rendez vous.
Les toms chantent, les toms bass sont bien gras en réglage détentu et la grosse caisse possède des infra bass qui prennent au ventre (montée en Aquarian Super Kick II).

Un achat que je ne peux que conseiller.
