I bought this to replace a previous 3U SKB X-rack because I needed one more space and also the previous one had a less robust back cover.
Sadly I have not been able to take this on a gig due to the current covid-19 restricting live music. But like the my previous rack this one is strong and well made and the metal fixings seem like they will keep things in place.
Pros: Well made, appears to be durable, fairly priced.
Cons:The handle has grooves on the inside which cut into your fingers when carrying the case. I have 4 items in and just moving it from one room to another in the house is unpleasant so I can imagine carrying it from the car to state is not going to be comfortable. Smooth handles would be much more comfortable.
This is the reason I gave it a 2 for handling.
It would be good if SKB made some covers that fitted into the slots on the inside of the handle to make carrying it more comfortable

Keeps my Kemper Rack Safe!

After searching online and talking to friends i ended up trusting SKB once more on protecting my Kemper Rack.

The perfect case if you are in need of downsizing to a 4U rack and at the same time have your pedal board and mini pedals on the back side. By just opening the 4 latches i m able to play in any gig in less than 5 minutes.

Sturdy construction, easy to carrie besides the fact that the handles can sometimes hurt you hands a bit.
On the downside i wish it came with locking butterfly latches instead but i would still buy it again.
