The Shure Tripod Mic Stand with Boom is a full-size general-purpose microphone stand with a telescoping boom arm, designed for stage, studio, rehearsal, and home-recording applications. Manufactured by Gator for Shure under licence, its height can be adjusted between 1041mm and 1778mm (41–70") with just one hand thanks to its ergonomic pistol clutch. The telescoping boom adds the reach needed to position microphones precisely; there's no need to place the base directly beneath the sound source. Its black powder-coated steel construction, non-slip rubber feet, removable white safety trim, and integrated cable-management clip make it well suited to regular setup, transport, and everyday stage or studio use. At 2.4kg, it has the reassuring solidity expected of a professional floor stand without becoming a burden on a busy load-in. The fixed Euro 3/8"-16 thread and supplied US 5/8"-27 adapter cover both international mounting standards.

Because the Shure Tripod Mic Stand’s broad height range can be quickly adjusted with just one hand, it can easily accommodate seated vocalists, standing performers, instruments at playing height, and light overhead duties without requiring several different stand types. For further flexibility, the boom can be angled in for vocals, extended towards a guitar cabinet while keeping the tripod clear of the performer, or raised for room microphones, choirs, and ensemble recording. Integrated clips keep the XLR cable routed neatly along the stand rather than trailing across the floor, reducing clutter and potential trip hazards.
