I bought the shure beta 57 rk323g (black) to replace my old grill which had been on the beta 58 wireless since I bought the mmicrophone. I bought the black version partly to replace the dirty old grill which had partly become filled with what appeared to be rust and because I believed the black colour would help it stand out. The black colour makes the microphone much more unique and stylish, I was very pleased with the results. As it is made by shure you can guarantee it will last and protect the microphone. Also as my old grill was shure, I cleaned it up and it was reused. Always good to have a spare.
A very good looking and well made product.
