was looking into quite a few wireless for my saxophone. At last I decided for the Shure.
First I was about to order the PGA mic but then ordered the Beta version. Today I played for the first time with this. It was totally worth the extra bucks
Highly recommended for any wind player. Sturdy clamp. Doesn't move an inch even if you want it to! Soundwise there is nothing more to tell than it's a SHURE. Top quality as usual!
As for getting started for the first time with wireless. This system is plug and play. You just hit the ON button.
For this price range though I would prefer more metal on the housing.

Great Wireless Mic for Trumpet

This Mic and clip are really great for the Trumpet. The lead is also nice and thin so you can wrap it around your horn easily. The receiver part is a bit flimsy but for most gigs it is fine if your careful. It pairs very well and hasn't failed me ever. 5 STARS

Solides Mikro mit gutem Sound

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Funkmikro für's Sax ohne den ganzen Kabelsalat, über den man beim Gig stolpern kann. So hatte ich lange gesucht nach einem Mikro, in dem der Sender gleich direkt am Mikro ist und man dann wirklich gar kein Kabel mehr hat. Das Thomann-Mikro für ca. 130€ (inkl. Sender!) war - sicherlich auch aufgrund des wirklich günstigen Preises - im Sound nicht befriedigend. So hat Thomann dieses Shure empfohlen, dass in Verarbeitung und Sound wirklich gut ist. Was ich mir ggf. noch gewünscht hätte, wäre ein Lautstärkeregler aussen am Gerät und - idealerweise - ein Halleffekt. Aber ich bin mit dem Funkmikro bisher sehr zufrieden. Es macht einen guten und soliden Eindruck.
