Wir setzen den A400 SMXLR an einem Rednerpult für ein Schwanenhals-Mikrofon ein. Die Griffgeräusche am Renderpult waren zuvor eklatant über das Mikrofon zu hören - nach Einbringen des Erschütterungsabsorber sind die nun weitestgehend eleminiert.
Das Schwanenhalsmikro wird in eine spezielle XLR-Buchse (Insert mit Connector) eingesteckt, die beweglich in eine Gummiführung gebettet wird. Daher bewegt sich das Mikrofon bei Berührungen mit und danach in die Ausgangsposition zurück. Für ein Biegen des Halses sind nun beide Hände nötig, was unerfahrene Redner irritiert. Aber Redner sollen ja nicht an dem Mikrofon festhalten :-).

Alle namhaften Firmen haben wohl die Produktion von Schock-Absorbern mit Neutrik 3-Pol eingestellt. Bleibt nur noch dieser übrig. Er tut, was er soll, verträgt aber nur relativ leichte Schwanenhals-Mikrofon-Kombinationen. Ich baue ihn erfolgreich in Rednerpulten ein um den Körperschall zu eliminieren.

Leider besitzt das Tool keine Zugentlastung, so dass man sich mit Kabelschellen, Heißkleber etc. behelfen muss. Deshalb Punkteabzug. Wie lange der Gummi hält, bevor er zerfällt ist mir unklar. Der älteste von mir verwendete Absorber dürfte 3 Jahre sein und zeigt noch keine Verhärtungen.
