Der Shockmount ist super und absorbiert Schwingungen, so wie erwartet. Auch Mikrofone anderer Hersteller lassen sich verwenden.

Leider gibt es keine (zumindest konnten wir keine finden können) passende Bohrkrone mit 51mm Durchmesser. Auch die 50mm Bohrung, ein wenig Vaseline und gute Hoffnungen haben nicht geholfen. Man muss schon zu Schleifpapier greifen und das Loch anpassen. Eine 55mm Bohrung kam für uns nicht in Frage.

Die beigelegten Schrauben sind okay, dürften aber be dem recht hohen Preis für ein wenig Kunststoff, ein wenig hochwertiger sein.

Das Shure-Produkt hat einen minimal größeren Durchmesser, so dass der Sennheiser-Schwanenhals an der Buchse mit etwas Isotape umwickelt werden muss, um zu halten.
