Great intro to the Hifi world and great all-rounder
FranckyVilly 14.02.2021
It's simply a great intro to the Hifi world and a great all-rounder.
pros
- really comfortable
- great build quality
- great sound for everything except if you need lots of bass.
Typical neutral/ balanced Sennheiser sound, mix of 500 & 600 series.
- easy to drive: ipod, , tablet, TV, gaming, synths/DP, computer, ...
- The comfort plus the warmth and clarity will please everyone. I just bought one for my mother and she loves it
cons
Nothing really, maybe the cables will not be to your taste and you'll need cables with a twist-lock system as replacement.
If you need more bass extension, check close-backs like AKG K371 or Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm

If you want very good detailed reviews, watch metal571 & Wheezy reviews on Youtube.
It's really a no-brainer if you like open-backs headphones and don't need lots of bass extension

p
good value for money
picatostas 17.12.2020
This are my first 'decent' headphones and so far no complain. They are super comfortable. I wear glasses and I can be for the headphones for several hours with no fatigue at all. Sound quality, I think they are good enough I am not a professional but from my guitar player perspective, they are worth the investment.

Very confortable

This headphone is not really build for DJ live performance, the structure is a little bit too light for heavy manipulation. Anyway it remain a very good tool. Audiophil may find some coloration in the bass range. But I like the way it sound for my private use.

H
Excellent for beginner music production work
H1SC0X 04.10.2020
Bought these to replace my HyperX Cloud 2's for gaming and music production work. The sound on these is incredibly clear and balanced to my ears. Work well for gaming allowing me to pinpoint enemy positions in multiplayer games and then aiding the ambience and atmosphere in more story driven games. Only given 4 stars due to the fact that I need to replace the 1/4inch cable already, but all other aspects of quality seem great. Also please note that these are open backed so sound will leak, not a problem unless you're planning to use these in public say on a train.
