Mundstücke sind ja immer so eine Sache. Muss zur Anatomie des eigenen Mundes und zum Saxophonmodell passen. Die SuperSession-Reihe von Selmer klingt auf meinem Yanagisawa S900 so, wie ich mir vorstelle, dass ein Soprano klingen soll. Sanft in den Tiefen (mit Subtone), in der oberen Oktave singend und "oboenhaft", ohne nölig zu sein oder zu dünn/hell zu werden.
Zwischen F, G und H fiel meine Wahl auf das G-Modell. Alle 3 klangen konsistent gleich aber die Spielbarkeit für mich persönlich am Besten beim G.

Vor ein paar Monaten habe ich das Super Session H getestet und kam damit nicht klar, jetzt habe ich im Zuge eines Tests von insgesamt 9 Mundstücken das etwas kleinere versucht, und bin wieder gescheitert, und noch klarer. Das Mundstück klingt nicht schlecht, ich konnte aber keinen konstanten Ton in allen Registern erzeugen. Möglicherweise habe ich ein schlecht gearbeitetes Exemplar erwischt?
In diversen online Bewertungen hört man, dass die Super Sessions mit größeren Öffnungen immer besser werden. Schade, dass die I und J nicht mehr erzeugt werden.
