the best cajon for this price range.the clap corners producing a sharp rim shot sound.good bass sound. very responsive snares,even at low volume playing.the snare wires are adjustable.very good quality.

Überraschende Leistung für den Preis

Kurz vorweg: You get what you pay for. Man kauft eine Cajon für gut 100? und darf kein Instrument erwarten, dass sich mit 500?-Vertretern messen lassen kann.

Wenn man sich das bewusst gemacht hat, hat man aber ein tolles Instrument vor sich. In seiner Preisklasse wirklich tolle Verarbeitung und toller Klang. Die grüne Frontplatte sieht spitze aus und kommt den Bildern sehr nahe.

In Abhängigkeit der Härte der Schlagplatte hat man bei einer Cajon immer entweder eher einen basslastigen Sound mit etwas dumpferem Crash oder etwas straffere Bässe und dafür helle und Prägnante Snare/Crash-Klänge. Bei meinem Instrument kann ich deutlich sagen, dass sie straffere Bässe und dafür einen durchdringenden Crash-Sound hat. Dadurch ist sie sehr perkussiv, aber nicht so voll und warm. Man sollte aber bedenken, dass der Sound einer Cajon trotz gleicher Bauart von Instrument zu Instrument sehr variieren kann (allein schon weil z.B. das Holz von einem anderen Baum kommt).

Nach der Lieferung mussten bei mir die Schrauben an den oberen Ecken etwas gelockert werden, um den Kastagnettensound beim Bespielen der Ecken zu erhalten. Das können aber selbst Anfänger mit einem normalen Schraubenzieher in 2 Minuten erledigen.
Ich würde nicht auf die Idee kommen, bei einem Instrument dieser Preisklasse nach Lackfehlern o.ä. zu suchen.

Da die Sitzfläche hochglanzlackiert und nicht angeraut ist, sollte man sich ein rutschfestes Sitzgummi dazubestellen.

Fazit:
Für den Preis bekommt man tolle Optik, Verarbeitung und Sound geboten, wenn man seine Cajon lieber perkussiv als rund und warm mag. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
