The beast
Dangerous Beat 14.01.2026
Since 2022, I have been using the CP432 DELUXE MAKASSAR cajon. It has a better sound than any I've heard and played before and It separates the bass from the rest of the sounds very well.. The front panel is screwed halfway and that gives it a special sound.
When I sat down at this cajon I was surprised at how good it sounded. If you know what you're doing the instrument works without question.
The front panel is completely screwed on, which gives it a different sound than the CP432 DELUXE MAKASSAR.
Now I have a top cajon and an epic cajon. I can't part with either one.
Both drums have their own special character.

Outstanding quality
Phil the drum 26.05.2024
Top class construction, outstanding separation between bass and snare and a
lovely warm bass sound . Snare is very responsive even when played quietly. I am very pleased with my purchase, highly recommended.

Much better than the Black
Deadhead626 30.04.2026
I purchased both the Walnut and the Black in order to compare them and the Walnut, in my opinion is a much better sounding instrument. With a slight adjustment of the top velcro, you can get all the snare of the Black and the bass on the Walnut is way deeper, richer and enjoyable. Add a bass tube and it's even better. Seems well enough built but it's not a €1500 instrument so we'll see how it holds up over time.
