Ich nutze das Mundstück für Pop & Rock sowie in der Big Band.
Durch das Mundstück wird das Erzeugen eines hellen Tones erleichtert, der gerade für die sogenannte "kommerzielle" Musik angemessen ist. In einer Pop/Rock Band als einzige Trompete in der Brass-Section genau der richtige Sound. In der Big Band spiele ich hauptsächlich die 2. Stimme, auch hierfür empfinde ich das Mundstück sehr geeignet. Für Soli ist der Ton formbar genug und nicht zu grell, gleichzeitig gehe ich in der Section nicht unter und es fällt mir leichter, hohe Passagen zu bewältigen und den Lead-Trompeter zu entlasten.

WICHTIG: Durch KEIN Mundstück kann man höher spielen. Es wird höchstens weniger anstrengend, lange in der hohen Lage zu spielen.

Also Ausdauer: Ja!
Höhe: Genau wie bei jedem anderen Mundstück kein Unterschied!

Habe mir zum testen zusätzlich das bobby shew lead von yamaha und das 1.25 bobby shew lead von marcinkiewicz zum testen gekauft und bin nun fleißig am probieren.
Dabei gefällt mir (bis jetzt) das 13a4 am besten von den dreien.
Einer dieser gründe ist, dass es auch in den tieferen lagen noch sehr gut spielbar ist und der ton nich allzu flach wird ( verglichen mit dem shew von yamaha).
Ein weiterer pluspunkt ist der sound! Mit diesem "stückchen gedrehtem metall" wird jede trompete zu einer richtig scharfen lead-hupe!!! XD
jedoch muss man sich erst noch an den flachen kessel gewöhnen, was aber kein problem darstellt.

alles in allem, ein sehr angenehmes mundstück, für einen großen einsatzbereich, mit besonders guten leadfähigkeiten!
