A little disappointed

Bought this to build a Randy Rhoads tribute Les Paul Custom. It is a nice idea but the finish suffered multiple significant scratches using a cotton cloth. As you would expect it shows finger smudges so you would expect cleaning it with a cloth should be fine but it is very scratched now.
