Best of the entry levels
If you’re looking for a good beginner-to-intermediate digital piano that feels like a real piano, the Roland FP-10 is a great choice — especially for the price.
✅ What’s Great
• Authentic Key Feel: The keys feel very close to a real acoustic piano. They’re fully weighted and use Roland’s PHA-4 Standard action, which is the same key mechanism in some of their more expensive models. Great for building proper finger strength and technique.
• Sound Quality: It uses Roland’s SuperNATURAL sound engine — rich, expressive, and much better than you’d expect for this price range. The grand piano tone is especially nice, warm, and dynamic.
• Compact Design: It’s slim and light, easy to fit into small apartments or bedrooms. You can even put it on a table or a stand and move it around if needed.
• Headphone Support: Great for quiet practice without annoying the neighbors or waking up your family.
• Bluetooth MIDI: You can connect it wirelessly to learning apps like Roland’s Piano Partner 2 or GarageBand — great for self-learners.
🔻 What Could Be Better
• Built-in Speakers Are Just Okay: They’re decent for practicing, but they don’t do the piano justice. Headphones give a better sound experience. No line-out jack for external speakers, only headphone out.
• No Display or Many Buttons: It’s minimalist, which looks clean, but you’ll need to memorize key/button combinations or use an app to change settings and sounds.
• Sustain Pedal is Basic: It comes with a small plastic pedal that feels more like a keyboard pedal than a piano one. You can upgrade it to a proper damper pedal if needed.
🎯 Who It’s For
• Beginners who want a quality digital piano to learn on without spending a fortune.
• Intermediate players who want a second piano for practicing quietly.
• Anyone who wants a portable, affordable, and realistic-feeling piano with good sounds.
⸻
Final Verdict:
💬 “The Roland FP-10 punches way above its weight. It’s a fantastic digital piano for the money — simple, solid, and satisfying to play. If you’re serious about learning or just want a good practice piano without spending too much, this is a no-brainer.”

Good Quality
It's a little on the expensive side, but worth it in my opinion. It feels nice and sturdy and it keeps the piano steady while playing. The instructions are really clear. Everything is pre-drilled and super easy to set up on your own with just a philips screwdriver, takes about 10 minutes. It has a nice finish and looks good. If you're investing in an FP10 to be played like a piano then I would recommend this stand. Like I said, price is a little high for a stand, but the quality is there and it should be a long-lasting item, making it worth the cost.

Perfect fit for FP-10
I have bought this support for FP-10 piano and, as expected, is a perfect fit for it. Easy to assemble (just need a philips), solid and good visual overall

Great stand for a great entry level digital piano
Item delivered in time and with a good packaging.
Roland KSCFP10-BK matches perfectly with what I consider the best entry level (or real portable) DP in the market , so the Roland FP-10. The stand is well made, sturdy and easy to assemble.

Essential base
I used to have an x shaped base that was OK in the beginning but was unstable and kind of a danger to the piano (kind of dropped it twice) and also the straps weren't that good for it. Bought this and fits like a glove( since it made for it as well). Now it is both more stable and looks a lot better!

Very steady
Out of all piano stands I had, this one was the sturdiest, I recommend it.
