Half Pedal Sustain
Achilleas K. 27.11.2021
Got this to use with my SL88 Grand, so that I can have half pedal support. It works but the full range is hard to hit. I might need to mess with it a bit. (I guess it is my luck. Had the opposite problem with VPC -1's sustain pedal). The strip helps it to stay in place.

Very solid and well built but heavy
Kikodasneves 24.08.2020
The pedal is great but takes a while to get used to because it's quite hard out of the box. Doesn't move at all while on the floor.

HOWEVER, the half damper functionality does NOT work with my yamaha p125, which supports half damper functionalities. I really don't why, maybe roland uses a different system. If you really want the half damper functionality, don't buy this for any brand other than roland products.

No polarity switch - doesn't work with Casio
Dr Go-Go 15.12.2025
I like the design and the quality seems robust. The turning rubber bottom is a such a simple but great idea. But there is no polarity switch. It has one switch but that is only to change from half-pedal mode to on/off sustain. In a pedal that tries to be a little bit better and is slightly more expensive than the competition the switch should be there.

If the built-in settings don't match your keyboard then it won't work because the sustain will be reversed (it will be always on). For example this doesn't work with Casio keyboards.

So this might be a good pedal but make sure it works with your keyboard. Without the polarity switch there is nothing you can do to change the settings. (Unless your keyboard itself allows to customise pedal function.) If you are unsure buy those slightly cheaper ones that have the switch.

Decent pedal
Quaner 28.11.2020
After a couple of years still usable and decent pedal. Does nothing more than described, could be more robust but a decent for the price.

Solid piece of kit
Carlito78 08.09.2022
Roland make the most robust pedal I’ve used. Had a few different makes and models all of which died or needed repaired within a year. I’m probably quite heavy with the pedal and the DP-10 has lasted well.

Nice pedal, but could be better
This is Daniel A. 22.12.2020
A nice pedal, solid quality, but may be a bit noisy if you release it very fast. Quite springy, but for the price a good thing.

Great quality. Could be a bit heavier

It should be heavier because I keep pushing it back

Excellent Quality
Ambrush 19.03.2021
Solid product, works as advertised. Stays put on the floor. Pedal feels great, not too heavy not too light.

I'm using this one for my midi keyboard in my home studio, my keyboard doesn't support continuous mode so I haven't tried that one, but works great in switch mode.

Great build quality, can definitely take a beating if you intend on bringing it to gigs. The rubber pad stops it from sliding around on the floor. Pedal is about the same size and have a similar feel as the sustain pedal on a piano. I'm happy with it and I can't think of any cons.
