I prefer the original Cube Street
I wasn't a fan of this amp. I found it a little bright for my violin, and I didn't like that the pole hole requires thicker, different poles, so every time I arrived somewhere, where I wanted to lift it up onto a pole, the pole wouldn't fit (the stand poles would always be thinner than the pole hole in the unit, which meant the amp would be sort of loose and leaning to the sides). In general I didn't like this unit, and it's overpriced for what it is. I went back to the original Cube Street, which is a total beast.

roland cube street ex
the amp sounds good, it's powerful and portable, lightweight as promised and works with a variety of instruments, the built in delay/chorus and reverb sound good, the clean channels on this amp sound great as roland are known for, the distortion channels just don't do it, the lead channel just doesn't have the sustain or tone to really play a powerful lead, and the tuner doesn't work well, it's not a huge problem for me since I use separate pedals for distortion and tuning but for anyone without pedals this amp might not be quite as functional as you need it to be.
